No argument there! Back when I was studying programming, using CP/M, the school provided MINCE (MINCE Is Not Completely Emacs) as our editor. When I started playing around with Linux, I tried learning Emacs but never got comfortable with it. I think that one of the things that endears me to nano is that it still uses ^G instead of the drain-bramaged Ctrl+G that you see so often.
