BitTorrent help

I installed the BitTorrent client via Yum using the FreshRpms 
repository.  I can't seem to get the program to run.  I'm probably 
overlooking something obvious but can't seem to figure it out.  Any help 
would be most appreciated.

First, thanks to those that have tried to help me so far.  I still 
haven't got this client to run.  What is happening is that when I go to 
download a bt file i get a small donwload and that's it.  Also, I can't 
seem to run bt from a terminal.  CDing to the path and invoking 
bittorrent doesn't bring up anything.  I have Python installed and also 
have installed wxPython and all the dependencies.  Perhaps someone knows 
of a URL that can help me figure out what is going on?

Edit->Preferences->Navigator->Helper Applications->New Type

MIME Type   : application/x-bittorrent
Description : Bittorrent
Extension   : torrent
Select 'open with' and enter : /usr/bin/btdownloadgui.py

Click OK and now iff you click on a .torrent file it should
launch the bittorent gui {RPM => bittorrent-gui}.

The web interface is bizzarre, I could not connect to *any* servers.
I finally figured out how to download a torrent manually, but it
provides almost no information about the torrents status, and no
bandwidth tuning abilities. I deleted it.

There currently seems to be a problem with recent wxPython causing me to
be unable to use the gui version of Shadow's BitTornado, but I'll wait
for it to be resolved and go back to that.

If you want to use the p2p networks (as I do).
use Overnet http://www.overnet.com command line client for ed2k links (the
recent version is in the forum:

I use Azureus (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/) as bittorrent client, it's
java based and runs very smoothly on Fedora 1.

I run both beside eachother (on different tcp ports) behind shorewall
firewall and get great download speeds (near physical max.).

Mail me if you have any questions, I'm quite new to torrent but I'm using
the overnet cli for quitte some time now!

Thanks, but I only tried mldonkey as an alternative while BitTornado was
not working correctly. I only use BitTorrent for Fedora isos and the
occasional Enterprise episode when I miss it on TV. but I truly have no
interest in most of the p2p networks. I don't even have an mp3/ogg music
collection. I listen on the radio if I listen at all. There hasn't been
much music made in the last several decades, although they have made a
lot of noise, and a lot of money. :)

Well, I've been off topic this whole thread. Time for me to shut up.

   When a torrent is clicked you should get a file downloading to your home directory.  
Keep an eye on it, as it should update (how fast depends on how many seeds/leaches).  
I haven't seen many that are very fast,   maybe the last fedora d/l i did was, but I 
don't use it that often.  I believe the Java implementation, Azureus(?) has a front 
end that will show you the progress of your download, but I usually just open up a
nautilus window on my home directory, look at it in detail view to see the progress
