I replaced a MB with a different manufacturers version. I would like to use the HDs from the old MB in the new. I'm trying to modify the contents of initrd-xxxxx.img from the boot directory to change the sata module that is loaded.
I can' figure out how modules.*.bin is generated from modules.*
Can anyone help me out? Pete
I believe what your looking for is mkinitrd.
