The name is too wide to fit into the eight-character column, so ps
shows it numerically. (Truncating it would be rather bad.)
I set
PS_FORMAT=user:10,pid,%cpu,%mem,vsz,rss,tty,stat,start,time,command
so "ps ax" shows the full name.
