HEllo, I'm looking for a list of "extras" mirrors. I alredy have enough "base" ones in my yum.conf.
I need ocaml and python-imaging, that are both in extras. I saw this could be one: http://fedoraproject.org/extras/EXTRAS
but it indicates a main mirror (xxx.redhat.com) and i dont want to overload the main mirrors.
would you know some others, or do i need to check one by one all the available mirrors here http://fedora.redhat.com/download/mirrors.html#EU to find onethat could suit me?
I'm located in France (centre area).

Thanks. They are apt-only repositories. I forgot to tell I only use yum. But I had the idea to mirror this one: http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/extras
How to know the mirrors of it? Where to annouce I'm mirroring it?
The mirror I manage is a 622Mbps server at Orléans: http://www.etud-orleans.fr/connectivite
It's blank yet. But the content is coming...

Hm? Why do you think so?

You just want to be a public mirror of Fedora Extras or Fedora Core too? Please see the bottom of
http://fedora.redhat.com/download/mirrors.html
for contacting Red Hat when intending to become a mirror.

#1 If I edit my yum.conf file and I fill them with [extras] name=Extra baseurl=ftp://ftp.univ-pau.fr/pub/mirrors/fedora- extras/fedora/fedora/$releasever/$basearch/ ftp://fr2.rpmfind.net/linux/fedora/extras/$releasever/$basearch/
Then yum cant find the repodata directory, and obviously all its content.
#2 ftp://ftp.univ-pau.fr/pub/mirrors/fedora- extras/fedora/fedora/3/i386/README
tells me: "This repository is replicated only for the convenience of apt users. yum/up2date users should use Red Hat's download.fedora.redhat.com mirrors."

Just the extras, because The Core has enough mirrors, according to the mirror listing page :-)
Ok.
A Plone page :)
Yes. I see you know :-)

it's a mirror of download.fedora.us -- contact the mirror admin and ask that download.fedora.redhat.com is mirrored instead -- how about that?
