USB key

Hello,

What does make that when a user pluggin a usb key, it is automatically
mounted with his own rights while there is noting in the fstab?
How can I reproduce it manually?

depending on how you define word 'mechanism'.

i would say that 'automount' sees usb plugged in and does mount.

I think he's asking what mechanism causes this to happen, rather than
what GUI options are available to configure it. But maybe not.
