Hi all, Is linux.org dead? I tried many dns servers, and none could resolve linux.org and www.linux.org.

Could be a DNS problem .. .
I tried all these DNS'es: nameserver 4.2.2.1 nameserver 4.2.2.2 nameserver 4.2.2.3 nameserver 4.2.2.4 nameserver 4.2.2.5 nameserver 4.2.2.6 nameserver 8.5.244.5 nameserver 8.8.4.4 nameserver 8.8.8.8 nameserver 68.94.156.1 nameserver 68.94.157.1 nameserver 156.154.70.1 nameserver 156.154.71.1 nameserver 208.67.220.220 nameserver 208.67.222.222 nameserver 208.94.147.150 nameserver 208.94.147.151 nameserver 209.81.9.1
But it could still be a DNS problem :) or linux.org has not been paying their registration fees :)

Appears to be so:
linux.org. 86400 IN NS ns0.aitcom.net. linux.org. 86400 IN NS ns.invlogic.com.
invlogic.com appears to be the host and the primary, and they appear to be down. ns0.aitcom.net appears to be a slave, and it's just coming back with SERVFAILs for invlogic.com and linux.org, since it apparently unable to reach it, either.

Thanx!! Guess will have to wait a day or two :)

Looks like it:
[joe@khorlia ~]$ dig www.linux.org

Hi JD,
why don´t you ask the owner, than you will know it for sure.
Check here for his email etc http://who.is/whois/linux.org/
It could be a DNS yeah, but it can also be that the server is out-of-order.
