A new rpm appeared in the Fedora development tree yesterday which has to be the largest I've ever seen posted:
openoffice.org-i18n-1.1.2-2.i386.rpm 124807302 July 31, 2004 09:54:00
This is 2/3 larger than the 1.1.1-6 version in FC3t1. If it's not a debug version, it must contain something really huge, like support for every possible character in the UTF-8 specification.

This is only the i18n files, as there's been a greater split for additional language files. Relevant changelogs are:
openoffice.org-1.1.2-2 ---------------------- * Fri Jul 30 2004 Dan Williams dcbw@redhat.com 1.1.2-2
- Finer grained split of additional language files

And much larger than the tarball of the same release:
80087947 May 28 12:19 incoming/OOo_1.1.2_LinuxIntel_install.tar.gz
Issent the prelinket programs bigger than non prelinket? But it runs faster when it is loaded.
