After I updated the kernel to kernel-2.6.11-1.14_FC3,the grub shows 2 kernels during boot up (one is the original one and the other is kernel-2.6.11-1.14_FC3).if i choose the original kernel,it works fine. but if i choose the new kernel,the system will just stop at "configuring system parameters".could someone help me solve this problem?thanks in advance

At the grub screen select the new kernel and press 'a' to append the kernel arguments. Then delete the rhgb part. If it successfully boots then either you need to reinstall/compile your video drivers or edit you xorg.conf to make it work. If not, dunno what to tell ya. Hope this helps :)
