can someone tell me where fedora stores the ethernet drivers... a better question might be if someone can direct me to where i can find out what driver is required for an intel 815 mobo with an intel ethernet connection...

Ethernet drivers are built into the kernel as modules. The stock kernel should provide the support. "lspci -vv"?

the reason i need the driver is that i'm doing a fedora install via ftp.. the install requires to know what drivers are required from a list of drivers... or, i could copy the driver to a floppy, and insert it...

You said earlier that it is an Intel ethernet adapter. Try e100.

Intel adaptors are usually handled by either the e100 or eepro modules. As far as where they're stored, it's in
