I am just in the process of converting from a windows user to Fedora
Core 6. On windows I used PasswordSafe to manage a database of all
my passwords. I have logins and passwords for 30 or so sites in
there. What is the best comparable product for fc6? It would be
nice if it would run in the system tray then I could click on it to
look up a password. What I did before I formatted my XP was to
export all my passwords to a plain text file so I have that as
input for whatever the new program is..
Revelation has made me happy and has a nice gnome panel applet to give
you quick access to your passwords. You can search for it in the
"Add/Remove Software" application or you can install it from the
command line using "yum install revelation" (as root).
To add it to the panel in Gnome, right click the panel and choose "Add
to Panel," then add "Revelation Account Search."
