Hi,
I'd like to avoid sending my hostname to the DHCP server via the DHCP request (Option 12).
On my F19 system dhclient runs with the following parameters:
/sbin/dhclient -d -sf /usr/libexec/nm-dhcp-client.action -pf /var/run/dhclient-em1.pid -lf /var/lib/NetworkManager/dhclient-e4e10ab3-a727-4cae-9b6e-40b565ad3e3f-em1.lease - -cf /var/lib/NetworkManager/dhclient-em1.conf em1
/var/lib/NetworkManager/dhclient-em1.conf contains the relevant line:
send host-name "foobar"; # added by NetworkManager
but modifying this file has no effect since it will be regenerated by NetworkManager.
What is the right way to remove the "send host-name" line from dhclient's config file?
thanks! fedorauser
