Here is a screenshot of my Gnome40 set-up.

I really like the idea of hitting the SuperKey twice to get to this view of the desktop
Just curious why anyone would use Gnome Tweaks in Gnome 40 ?
I like Gnome40 better than Mate for several reasons. I like the idea of using the latest wayland / xwayland / mutter instead of X, however, I hope to learn other wayland compositors.
I am using a Kensington trackball that does not have a scroll function. However, I guess there are ways to program the 4 buttons to do shortcuts.

I use it for:
* Windows > Center New Windows (I think this works better with the dash at the bottom)
* Turn on over-amplification on my thinkpad, because it's too quiet for family video calls otherwise.
* Change the default monospace text font to one I prefer (JetBrains Mono)
I used to use it to set the Compose Key, but I see that's in Keyboard now. (Someday, the world will be ready to join me with the default of CapsLock-is-Compose!)
