Fedora 36 KDE
I noticed that SDDM is very hit or miss when locking the screen. Sometimes I can move my mouse and I am asked to enter a password. And then there are times I can move my mouse and my desktop and task bar appears without entering a password.
I have my settings set as LOCK SCREEN after 27 min
allow unlocking without password 1 sec
Power management set to turn off screen after 28 min
But I just noticed that power management was defaulted back to 10 min... It's like the settings aren't sticking.. But thats for another thread.
Any ideas on why screen locking is very hit or miss?

You might consider asking on the Fedora KDE list.

Do you only have one screensaver installed? I mean the thing that manages screen locking, not lots of toys that are displayed when the screensaver is active.

I was hoping to NOT have to do that.... *SIGHS*
I thought that "users" was for ALL Feodra users no matter what DE you use.
How do I join the KDE list? I cant find the website that I initially used to join this list.

I don't even think that I have screensavers installed. When you open the control panel and type in Screensaver the only option that comes up is screen locking.

It is, but if you have a specific issue with KDE, then that mailing list might be more effective for getting an answer.

It is, but when a topic relates to a specific component with its own list, it's often better to ask there. KDE has such a list since the default DE in Fedora is Gnome.

In fact the latest post there at time of writing seems to be similar to the issue you're having.
