Hi, I haven't seen any Fedora guide on howto make compressed partitions. AFAIK anaconda doesn't support making compressed partitions. I have Asus eee with 4GB SSD drive and would love to have this space more usable. Fedora LiveCD ISO is 2.6GB but compressed down to 650MB. I would be happy with one half of that compression.

Thank you Richard. From wikipedia page I found out that there is no file system in Fedora that supports transparent compression :(
