Default application for some file typeHi

Hi guys,

how to define the default application for opening files with some type 
in F30, for example the app for opening PDF files (acroread or evince 
are examples)?

My DESKTOP envs are Cinnamon and GNOME.

All hints are welcome.

In Gnome, right-click the file and choose properties.  There will be an 
"Open With" tab.  Pick the application you want and click on "Set as 
default".

Also in Xfce, in case it matters.
