I'm not sure what video card it is... It is an older nvidia card.

When you boot to run level 3 type
lspci | grep -i nvidia
at the command line prompt. This should tell you the model you have. And, as Jim has stated, your model may no longer be supported with the most current version of the nVidia drivers. You'd have to go to their site and download/install the legacy driver.
