Just an update for anyone that may be experiencing the problem below. The work around is
to select the text install option. I believe that the "Out of Range" message
from my monitor meant that the monitor could not adjust to the resolution that the
installer wanted to use. At any rate the install went well and I am in the process of
updating using yum.

Subject: FC3 Install Problem
Encountered a problem during installation initiation. After Anaconda checks for video
card, monitor, and mouse it starts X-server. When that happens I get a message from my
monitor "Out of Range" I have a VX900-2. Any ideas on how to get around this.
Works fine with FC2.
