Hi, I try to build qTox on f23 follow this how to https://github.com/tux3/qTox/blob/master/INSTALL.md#simple-install
but I cannot find sqlcipher and I get this error:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lsqlcipher
I have try to use last generic build https://build.tox.chat/view/Clients/job/qTox_build_linux_x86-64_release/last...
but last version do not work anymore (previous version work ok) with this error:
[lesca@dodo ~]$ qtox qtox: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.1.0.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory [lesca@dodo ~]$ rpm -q openssl-devel openssl openssl-devel-1.0.2e-3.fc23.x86_64 openssl-1.0.2e-3.fc23.x86_64
Someone can help me to build from source or run the generic build?
Many thanks

sqlcipher is not enable for fedora & redhat
I have grub it from official site and rebuild it with a self produced .spec file and install it.
Now the rebuild of qtox work.
Thanks -- Dario Lesca (inviato dal mio Linux Fedora 23 Workstation)

Perhaps you could put this into copr [1], so other people who might want it could find it?

yes, this is a good idea, but I'm not a expert of spec files and package build.
I have adapt the spec file present into sqlchiper zip and install manually the dependence, omitting descriptions, Comments and parts of lesser importance to build it, I do not know how to improve it (see attach).
In the next few days I will try to look how to use copr
Thanks

I'm not the person to help with that. I, too, tweak spec files from time to time, but I don't know the documented procedures. There must be documentation on the wiki, and I have seen occasional discussions about packaging in the -devel list, though I have also seen some hostility to questions about packaging. It isn't clear to me which questions get help and which get condemnation.

Good luck.
