I have a dual headed F23 system using a NVidia graphics card. Everything was working fine until today when I installed the latest set of updates.
Both screens were set to 1280x1024 resolution.
However, since I rebooted after completing the update, my right hand side screen is now limited to 1024/768.
If I look in System Settings -> Display Configuration it correctly recognises my left screen as a CY765. However, the model of my right screen is no longer recognised, and just shows it as VGA-1 which is it's port.
I'm certain that it used to know the model of that screen too.
Can anyone suggest how I can get this resolved, or at least where to look to find the problem?
Cheers
Gary

Do "dnf history | head" to find the latest update, then "dnf history info <number>" to find out all the packages that were modified. Check for anything graphics/X related. If there was a kernel update, does booting the previous kernel fix the problem?
I did the dnf history as suggested (included below, along with the one before it)
I could not see anything video related, but there was a kernel upgrade. I tried booting on the previous kernel but it make no difference.
Anyone got any more suggestions?

Do "dnf history | head" to find the latest update, then "dnf history info <number>" to find out all the packages that were modified. Check for anything graphics/X related. If there was a kernel update, does booting the previous kernel fix the problem?

Have you installed the NVidia driver or are you using nouveau? What ports are the monitors using? Is it possible to swap them? I think you could use an xorg conf chunk to force it, but it would be good to fix it properly.
It is odd that there were no graphics updates other than the kernel, but using an earlier kernel doesn't fix it. Did you try both earlier kernels? How long had it been since you rebooted the computer?
I tried all three available kernels - to no effect.
Once monitor was conected the the VGA port, the other connected via a VGA adaptor to the DVI port.
The odd thing is that once I swapped them over, the resolution problem went away.
Not only that, but although the login screen appeared on the wrong screen - as expected - once I was logged in, the primary screen was in the right place, and the mouse moves between them screens properly despite me not changing anything.
hay ho. It's fixed anyway
Thanks
