Network communication between hosts

Hi,


 I need advice about developing C++ program. I need to develop 2 application which must
communicate via network using SSL encryption. The problem is in which format to exchange
the data. I can use XML format to exchange data between the hosts but a lot traffic will
be generated. What are the usual practices to exchange data between the hosts?

Lexmark Printer X75 does not work

Hi everyone!
I have tried several times to install the lexmark X75 on my F14 (and 
also in F13) but it didn´t work. I have tried the following guides for 
the printer:

and:
http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/hardware-peripherals/13305-driver-lexmar...

both guides didn´t work. When i install the driver everything works 
fine. Then I add the printer in cups and that also works fine. But then, 
when I try to print a testpage cups says:

gestoppt
/"rastertolxx74.c:1792: Unknown option 
job-uuid=urn:uuid:36e5e988-d359-3c30-68a8-f35f70e14833."
/
That´s all and the printer does nothing at all. I couldn´t find a 
solution to this problem. HOpe someone can help me or encountered the 
same problem (which is of course not suprising with lexmark printers).

There is no universal answer that is generally considered to be The Right 
Thing To Do.

The correct answer depends on many factors. The nature of the data, how it 
is structured. You're going to get a different answer if your data is just 
some two-dimensional grid, or if it can be represented as some kind of a 
hierarchically-organized data, or if it something completely ad-hoc, like a 
command/response, or any one of many possibilities.

Therefore, the only person who knows the answer to your question, is really 
you.
