Works for me:
$ mpiexec bash: mpiexec: command not found $ module avail mpi
---------------------------- /usr/share/modulefiles ---------------------------- mpi/openmpi-x86_64
Use "module spider" to find all possible modules and extensions. Use "module keyword key1 key2 ..." to search for all possible modules matching any of the "keys".
$ module spider mpi
---------------------------------------------------------------------------- mpi: mpi/openmpi-x86_64 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This module can be loaded directly: module load mpi/openmpi-x86_64
$ module load mpi/openmpi-x86_64 $ which mpiexec /usr/lib64/openmpi/bin/mpiexec $ mpiexec -------------------------------------------------------------------------- mpiexec could not find anything to do.
It is possible that you forgot to specify how many processes to run via the "-np" argument. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- $ module purge $ mpiexec bash: mpiexec: command not found $ rpm -qf /usr/share/modulefiles/mpi/openmpi-x86_64 openmpi-4.1.0-5.fc34.x86_64
The error "ERROR: error getting working directory name: no such file or directory" sounds more to me like you've got some other error unrelated to the package.
Now, works !!!
