Ive been running Fedora23 with XEN under a kde desktop for some time now, all working quite well, then about 3-4 weeks ago not sure why but a decent working configuration with XEN / libvirt and virt-mamanger no longer seems to function properly. Im booting as usual XEN from UEFI as I always have, and VMs refuse to start with "cryptic" messages. so far Ive gotten this from the logs.

Seems like xen is not formatting the qemu command line correctly for an empty cdrom device. You can probably remove the cdrom device from your VM config and it will start working. But file a fedora bug against xen, there's probably some patch that needs backporting
