video editing on F10

What's the best program to use with F10 to do some video editing?  Someone
wants to attempt to clean up their wedding video which they just had transferred
from VHS to a DVD with, apparently, fairly poor results.

I usually do my video editing with pitivi and avidemux. They are simple 
programs, but do the job I need.
