what is the origin of NM_CONTROLLED=no

Hello,
I have two installations of f10, which are quite new.

I looked in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0.

On one I have:
NM_CONTROLLED=
On the second
NM_CONTROLLED=no

AFAIK, when using default installation, it does
give you:
NM_CONTROLLED=
as in the first machine.

I wonder:
what did I do that caused it to be changed to
NM_CONTROLLED=no
on the second machine ?

I don't remember that I did it manually.

Could it be as a result of chkconfig someService off ?

did you you system-config-network to configure the device?  The tool
has a radio button for NM control.

The answer, is : (defineitely)
NO!

I did not use system-config-network in the recent year nor did I added
this manually to the ifcfg-eth0 script.
