Mobile Broadand

Hello,

After I updated from fedora 20 to 22, I lost the Mobile Broadband and
Wifi connections.

I tried several things
like 
systemctl start ModemManager
systemctl enable ModemManager

but it does not help.

Id does not show up in
mmcli -m 0
while it does in
mmcli -L

Any ideas?

I always remove networkmanager & install wicd.. wicd just seems to work
for wireless connections..

Hello,

Thank for the suggestion.
However,
after I installed wicd and wicd-common.
I tried to systemctl start wicd
and this is what I got:

However, fedora22 live let you connect in Wifi (not in Mobile Broadband).

I'm walking into this conversation late.

However, for Wifi to work correctly on my laptops, configurations go 
through NetworkManager. Therefore once setup in NetworkManager (using the 
gui)
systemctl restart NetworkManager
(from the command line)

enables the network connections.

ifconfig -a
shows you what interfaces are working and moving data.

That's basic, but hopefully can help.
