Just found a bug in dialog program with --pause option. Have a project (G4L) that uses it, and it worked fine all the way up to Fedora 32. That has Version: 1.3-20191210.
Just upgraded build machine from Fedora 32 to Fedora 33, and found the command no longer works. It shows the count down value, but never counts down. Fedora 33 has dialog - Version: 1.3-20200327.
Contacted the maintainer, and got an immediate reponse that it was a bug, and had been fixed after that version. Downloaded the current latest source code Version: 1.3-20210324. Built it, and it works fine on the Fedora 33
Was looking for who to contact, but don't know where or to who I would report the issue.
Solved my problem, but would like to get it resolved for other that might have some that that uses dialog with the --pause option.
Thanks.

Since you already contacted "upstream" and you're aware of the fix you may file a bug with bugzilla.redhat.com to make sure the fix is included in the package.
