All;
I have a new touchscreen laptop. I want to install both KDE and Gnome, I started with the Fedora 35 KDE spin and I will now add Gnome with:
# dnf groupinstall gnome
Is this the best method? Should I start with the default Fedora 35 install dvd and then install KDE?
Does it matter / is there any difference in the results?
Hi,
I have a new touchscreen laptop. I want to install both KDE and Gnome, I started with the Fedora 35 KDE spin and I will now add Gnome with:
# dnf groupinstall gnome
I thought the command line to do that was more like:
dnf groupinstall "GNOME Desktop Environment"
Try this command to see what tickles your interests:
dnf grouplist -v
Is this the best method? Should I start with the default Fedora 35 install dvd and then install KDE?

I wouldn't have thought either way would be better. Since you've already installed KDE, try adding Gnome to it, and see what happens.
