Hello,
When I open Accessories -> Files, the size of the icons is very big. How can I manage the icon size?
Thank.

what happens when you hit CONTROl-"-" (minus) control-+ makes them bigger.. control-"-" minus should make them smaller.. works in browser also..

It does not much. Actually it only change the spacing between the icons! There are only 3 increments.

Patrick,
You have to give us more info. Which desktop are you using (KDE, Gnome, XFCE, etc.) and which window manager are you running (xfwm4, lightdm, metacity, etc.)? They all behave a little differently. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Rick Stevens, Systems Engineer, AllDigital ricks@alldigital.com - - AIM/Skype: therps2 ICQ: 226437340 Yahoo: origrps2 - - - - Heisenberg _may_ have slept here - ----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello,
gnome (fedora 22) and probably metacity. How can I check?

Try:
xprop -id $(xprop -root _NET_SUPPORTING_WM_CHECK | cut -d# -f2) WM_NAME
as the logged in user. On my XFCE system:
[rick@prophead ~]$ xprop -id $(xprop -root _NET_SUPPORTING_WM_CHECK | cut -d# -f2) WM_NAME WM_NAME(STRING) = "xfwm4"
so I'm running xfwm4.
I'm not a Gnome3 fan in any way, but googling for things, it appears you must bugger a file. See this:

Your mileage may vary......

You're using mutter as your window manager (yeah, gnome3 uses it by default).
Check that link I sent as to changing your icon sizes. I don't use Gnome3 so that's about as far as I can help. Someone else may have ideas about it.

Hello,
It says: To configure the layout of the application icons in the GNOME Shell, you have to modify /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/gnome-shell.css
I do not have this file. Is something missing?
Thank.
