Hello there guys and gals,
I am downloading the dvd iso for f7. What is the best way to get it going? I have two boxes that need to be updated. I also noticed that the use of /dev/sda is now default. How do I tell the installation to load the installation to the /dev/hda drives or is that an automatic conversion?

Burn and boot it or were you asking something else?

Automatic. See the release notes for more details at http://docs.fedoraproject.org

Scott From what I saw in the release notes the hdx drives are being called sdx
drives. The switch sounded like it is automatic. You can try it and see.
What I was getting at Rahul was I had trouble the other day with the rc2 when I booted I tried local cd and hard drive but Neither worked because I am using /dev/hda on both systems. I couldn't even get to anaconda. [Scott] [Scott] Scott
Thanks Eric will do.

There has been a few blocker bugs that were fixed in between RC2 and the general release. Hopefully the issue got resolved in these changes. Do try and provide feedback.

Rahul,
What is going to be the easiest way to install it on a box which does not have dvd support? I have heard ftp and http?

Depends on how much bandwidth you have. The choices are described in

Me thinks too many are already taking that advice:
