I recently installed ntfs in my fc3 system. But when I rebooted I can not find ntfs in /proc/filesystems directory and I have to install again. Why?

NTFS support is a kernel module. I'm supposing that the reboot changed the kernel you were running under. See http://www.fedorafaq.org/#ntfs .

You don't have to reinstall it again. It is simply just not loaded from it's own. "modprobe ntfs" will do.
