Until very recently, if I left my Mate terminal open when
rebooting, it would come back up with the same seven tabs, set to the
same profiles in the same sequence, as before. I had adapted the
number and arrangement, long before Gnome3, to the things I do; once
it's established, my fingers know their routines, saving me unneeded
conscious thought.
Now it comes up with a single tab, set to the default
profile; so I have to re-open and re-set all the rest. I don't see an
item in the Control Center, nor on the Main Menu, that controls this.
How do I get my multiple tabs back??
I don't have my home computer with Fedora installed available right now
but on this laptop with linux mint & mate desktop selecting:
Menu - Control Center - Startup Applications (under Personal) - Options
then checking the check box to save running applications on logout
seems to work.
