I burned these 4 CDs (http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/3/i386/iso/)
and booted with the first CD, but I always failed and the machine directly went to windows XP
Do i need to make another boot CD?
Thanks
That first CD ought to have been bootable. Have you checked that the ISO you download was correct? The MD5 checksum is correct? How about checking that the CD really is ok... e.g. read it from Windows.

Hi, did you set the correct boot order in your bios settings (cdrom before hd)?
greetings, grim

Another possibility: on boot on fast computers, you hardly see a message saying: Press any key to boot from the CD. Try continuously tapping a key during boot sequence, perhaps the problem will be so solved Kind regards JdK
