Does FC4's orinoco driver support WPA encryption?
I'm trying to connect to a Linksys WRT54GS (latest v4.70.6 firmware) using WPA Personal. FC4's iwconfig refuses keys longer than 104 bits (13 chars); all attempts to set up WPA/WPA2 encryption fail.
A couple of nights ago I was able to set up full encrypted wireless support for a Linksys WRT54G I recommended to a friend for her new Dell WinXP laptop. At home all I've been able to do is restrict access to my laptop's MAC address. Very annoyning.
A Google search for "Secure WRT54G setup for Lucent/Orinoco Linux" led me to a document (http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Jean_Tourrilhes/Linux/) that appears to say the Lucent/Orinoco driver supports only WEP. Is this true?
