I recently downloaded all the parts of KDE 4.1.1. It says I must install it using command line. How do I access command line on Fedora 9.

Look for a terminal icon (screen with a little ">") on the screen.
in the menu that pop out of the lower left icon (if your panel is at the bottom)

One way is: Application->System Tools->Terminal
