What does that error mean?
Mock has aborted with an error and is advising you to have a look into the log files under /var/lib/mock/fedora-19-x86_64/result
Typically you will want to check build.log and root.log.
If a package dependency is missing you'll find a corresponding error message in root.log. If something went wrong during the build, build.log should contain the necessary infos.

"root.log" returns a lot of information but I don't see what the fault is.
It's not critical, I have a working copy of gnofin, I was just hoping to find a way around working through all the dependencies it requires to make it work. Don't know if that will even be possible in the future, Fedora-20 and beyond.
It appears I've been using the application since Fedora-5 and perhaps earlier ...
I keep notes so this isn't a completely wasted exercise, I may be able to apply this information eventually.
Thanks for the help,
Bob

Hi: Paste both on paste (http://paste.fedoraproject.org/) and send us the link. Although the latest version is from 2000, it's going to be quite tricky to compile it on a modern Fedora.
Kind regards

I'm not sure how to use "pastebin" but I pasted it and it returns the URL below. Can you find it with that?
Shortened URL: http://ur1.ca/fv252
Thanks much,

That worked OK
There're problems with the .spec file
error: line 10: Unknown tag: Copyright: GPL
So yeah.. it's going to be a quite fun trip.
Have you saw gnucash, grisbi or skrooge ? THose are already available on Fedora and look a lot more update.
Kind regards

Ok, I'm not trying to dump a lot of work on anyone. I just got off on this tangent ...
I used gnucash and it works but it is overkill for keeping track of one checking account and Gnofin was good for that, has some rough edges but always worked. I am not familiarwith the others you mention but I will have a look at them. I'm interested in anything that will work.
Thank you for the help,
Bob

The first error is easy... in build.log:
error: line 10: Unknown tag: Copyright: GPL
The spec is using the ancient "Copyright" tag which has been long since removed from rpm. Replace with "Copyright" with "License" to get past the first obstacle.
