preparation needed for install of fedora on slave drive question

I have moved data files from slave drive, and now want to install fedora
core 3? on the slave drive.  What preparation/steps can I follow?  Any
pointers appreciated.

I think the installation guide from the RedHat manuals is pretty good:

Just follow the prompts. Make sure  to choos the hdb
drive, not to choose Remove all partitions on this
system and to place the boot record on the MBR. My
personal advice: forget completely ms. It sucks!
