For my education, does up2date act as a front end to yum please?
I.e. its yum that retrieves packages from redhat, then hands off to rpm?
I found the repeated mentions of yum confusing till this message
gave a clue.
I didn't study the source code, but as to my knowledge up2date has been
extended to act on yum repositories, too, and does this for it's own.
Additionally, there are two separate configuration files (/etc/yum.conf
and /etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources)
