Missing CUPS Key

I need some advice on how to get around the following problem. I did
look for other related posts, and do not want to go off delete things
without knowing why.

I ran the Software Updater today, and one of the packages would not
install due to this error:

Public key for cups-libs-1.2.12-1.fc6.i386.rpm is not installed

I would appreciate help taking the steps to fix this problem.

Its not just you, I saw the same failure.  Clearly the cups-lib RPM in
updates wasn't built with a valid GPG key.

The only workarounds that I can suggest are to exclude cups* from the
update for now, or just manually install the RPM.  I chose the latter.

Just wait a bit for a corrected package to hit the repos.  It should
be soon.  See:

It is not a yum call but a line: gpgcheck=1 in every repo.

On top of that advice being incorrect, as Aaron noted, it's also
incredibly bad.  You don't disable gpg checks because of on
incorrectly signed package in the official repositories.

Please resist the urge to give advice on topics you do not understand
Karl.  Failing that, you ought to put a disclaimer in your messages so
others know you're not speaking from reasonable experience.

Hopefully others here don't end up making bad choices based on the
crap advice you seem to keep giving out.
