When trying to enter Chinese characters into text via ibus in (g)vim, LibreOffice, etc., ibus's menu of candidate characters uses a font size that is too small (see attached screen capture), and does not match the setting in ibus's preferences. This issue came up before, in the winter of 2019; see this thread: "https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@lists.fedoraproject.org/..." I read through the thread and checked/did what Ed Greshko and Peng Wu suggested. I get a message that "gnome-shell-extension-prefs is deprecated". Something has changed. How do I now get ibus to use the larger font size that I want? If I need to install something, I ask that it be done with dnf (apparently Fedora's preferred way of installing and updating), not flatpaks, not gnome's "software", not (etc.).

By the way, Ed Greshko was one of the key helps in my winter 2019 thread, but I haven't seen any posts in this list recently. Is he still with us? Is Peng Wu a member of this list?
