bad superblock

I've tried e2fsck from the rescue CD and it claims it's clean even when
I use -f force, but when I try to boot from the latest kernel it fails
with an error 15.  I tried an install from the cds as a upgrade but no
luck.

It will run if I fall back one kernel but is flaky.

Any ideas?
