According to the above, you've already got it installed. The following line is just the older version still on their server:
php-common.i386 5.2.2-3 fedora
Last day I have do a yum update ...
[root@lesca ~]# grep php-common /var/log/yum.log Sep 19 13:18:21 Updated: php-common - 5.2.4-1.fc7.i386
That's the same package.

I'm not sure what your problem is. You seem to have it, the repo yum looked in had it. Were you misreading the version numbers? Were you expecting updates to otehr related PHP packages?

The problem is for all, it is not only mine.
On a new server I have run 'yum update' and the php version is the 5.2.2-3 and not the 5.2.4-1.fc7
Some day ago a new installation + update of F7 got php-5.2.4-1.fc7 Yesterday and today a new installation + update of F7 got php-5.2.2-3
this is the problem, on the mirror php-*5.2.4* not there is.
Today I have sync my local mirror and php-5.2.4* it has been removed. I need this version of PHP.
what appens?

Ah, the missing bit of the puzzle (more than one computer involved).
Not all of the mirrors are up to date, some are much slower than others. You will have used more than one mirror.
You get a different mirror (almost) each time: If you run yum more than once, within a short timespan, that particular instance will use the same mirror (it'll use the last answer it got, it won't ask for another mirror address). Running yum on another computer will probably get told to use a different mirror.

The update of PHP is release 9 day ago:

It is corrected that only 2 mirror (rsync) are up to date in therefore many (9) days?
However, now that I have found the right mirror .... I know what I have to do.
Thanks

Correct? Hmm, I can't answer that. Is that common, I'd say yes.
Unfortunately, things are not as organised as we'd hope them to be. Some mirrors take an age before they're updated. Remember that some of them carry many gigabytes of various Linux distros, not to mention other software. They may have to be cautious with their bandwidth.
My ISP has a local mirror, but I don't think they have any of the updates since the first lot were released. It's ages since I checked, but they were certainly months behind.

That is not the problem with this php update. Mirrors can't fetch what is not available anymore. See the "php-gd" thread for the details.
