1 PS2 mechanical
1 PS2 optical
1 USB optical

No

Changed the protocol from "IMPS/2" to "Auto" and the problem
persists:
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Mouse0"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Protocol" "Auto"
# Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "yes"
EndSection
I'm using a Logitech Click! optical USB PS/2 mouse via the PS/2 adapter
at the moment. Not FC5 but, maybe some help from the following xorg.conf
section?
Section "InputDevice"
Driver "mouse"
Identifier "Mouse[1]"
Option "Buttons" "9"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
Option "Name" "ImExPS/2 Logitech Explorer Mouse"
Option "Protocol" "explorerps/2"
Option "Vendor" "Sysp"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
EndSection
