bit of a beginner WRT to ACPI so i want to install the "appropriate" packages on my fedora rawhide system to play with ACP, and there appear to be a number of them:

currently, i can see the [acpi_thermal_pm] kernel thread running, and i have *none* of the above packages installed. are some of these packages obsoleted or superseded by some of the others? what is the state of the art WRT ACPI in userspace? just trying to figure out which packages are relevant and which aren't. thanks.

Please take Rawhide questions to the Fedora Test list. The Users list is only for released and maintained versions of Fedora software (currently F19 and F20). Note that many Rawhide maintainers do not read the Users list.
