Now it downloads the packages and hangs at the start of the installing phase. I blew away everything in /var/spool/up2date and it still does the same thing.

Three rpms are bad, unselect redhat-config-network-tui-1.3.10-1.noarch.rpm redhat-config-network-1.3.10-1.noarch.rpm anaconda-help-9.2-1.noarch.rpm

Todays bad rpm is control-center ...
up2date has switched channels to fedora-core and updates-released.

FYI, the following bugzilla is tracking the original (not switched channel problem)

I believe the bad rpm issue with noarch.rpms is because of the bad 'yum' header.info which is inconsitant with the files on the ftp server.
I think up2date also uses the yum repository hence this error bites up2date as well.
