I usually just paste the link using the middle button on a tab and it would go there for me. Now it just kills the tab.
any quick help? tnx
I have been searching(googling/yahooing)for over 5 days but am hitting dead ends all the time.
Kindly can someone "light me up".I want to use yum to downgrade certain package(s) but i can't seem to get it right.!
What is the yum combination for downgrading?
My box has FC6, up to date(17-11)
PS:I have yum allowdowngrade plugin installed.
Thanks.

Previously, the default was the other way around (my preference is how you've described it, co-incidentally). Open up the about:config interface in Firefox, and use middle as your filter keyword. Toggle the true/false boolean for middlemouse.contentLoadURL.
That was the one to play with on prior versions, it's probably the same for 2.0 (or something similar).
tim, tnx. mine just kills the tab either way. this is very odd.

I just pasted the URL via the middle button into the space (window) where the content goes and it took me to the new page. Never tried that before. Pretty cool. I noticed the behavior you mentioned about it killing the tab, it does seem to do that. I am using a copy of FF 2.0 installed in my private bin directory, not one installed via rpm.
