Hi, I've just upgraded from fedora33 to fedora34. I understand both are EOL already.
I need at least php version 7.4.26, but it appears fedora34 only provides 7.4.16. The problem is that fedora35 includes php8, and I have several applications that don't yet fully support php8.
What are my options?
Is it possible to install a later version of php on fedora34 without having to try and get php7 to work on fedora35? I'm really reluctant to upgrade then try and run two versions of php on fedora35.

F34 has 7.4.28 in updates, so I don't know why you don't have it if you upgraded recently.

I was using a specific mirror in my repo file because the one chosen by mirrors.fedoraproject.org by default was timing out, and it appears it didn't have all the updates.
I've now changed it back, and it picked another mirror with those updates. thanks.

Hi,
Even that I never used it, but you could check out remi-repo[1] As far as I know maintainer is involved in Fedora and PHP packaging, but take a look, it seems to support fedora and all upstream PHP releases. There is also a configuration wizard[2] which helps depending on the requirements, OS version, single/multi PHP versions installed together ...
So this should allow you to have supported OS and PHP.
Regards, Branko
