This morning up2date is reporting updates available for Fedora. So I run it and they all download. When it starts installing, it just sits there hung.
Running rpm -Uvh *rpm in /var/spool/up2date gives:
[root@tentacle up2date]# rpm -Uvh *rpm warning: acpid-1.0.2-5.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID e418e3aa error: open of <!DOCTYPE failed: No such file or directory error: open of HTML failed: No such file or directory error: open of PUBLIC failed: No such file or directory
Thoughts?

Had the same experience. Turns out it just had a lot to do - the 97 updates include some really large packages and it is just taking its time to perform a big nasty RPM transaction. My 2.53GHz P4 took almost 5 minutes to start actually installing packages after the download was complete.
Just be patient and it will all work.
Cheers,
Chris

Thanks, that appears to be my "problem" also.

You downloaded some "error 400" plain html files instead of RPM packages. Try watching content of these files with a web browser and you will see. Probably you are still using up2date from Fedora Core RC3, update to latest version available at http://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/rawhide/i386/Fedora/RPMS/
