Where is User Firefox Bookmarks

Where is Firefox bookmarks.html /

I have a s--t load of bookmarks , but if I look in 
~/.mozilla/firefox/default/  the bookmarks I have are not shown in 
bookmarks.html

They are now stored in places.sqlite.

You can also go into Organize Bookmarks and export them as html to 
wherever you want.

There may be a file named bookmarks.html, but firefox
doesn't use it anymore. The file today is places.sqlite
and it has lots more than bookmarks in it:

zooty> find .mozilla -name places.sqlite
.mozilla/firefox/kehvumpn.default/places.sqlite

That kehvumpn name is some sort of unique ID
that will be different for everyone.
