A few days ago any time I try to view a web page that contains some Flash, Firefox (56.0) hangs for about a minute, then does something, and hangs again for a minute, etc. Until I kill the tab for that web page.
Chrome works fine. Firefox used to work too, but now it doesn't.
Has anyone seen this?
PS. I had originally followed the instructions here to install Flash:
https://www.if-not-true-then-false.com/2010/install-adobe-flash-player-10-on...
TIA Fulko
have you tried debug with firefoxdeveloperedition?

I don't think I can because NSAPI is no longer supported in Firefox 58 and hence Flash isn't either. Is there an older version of the developer edition downloadable somewhere?

A follow-up to my original post.
I think the problem may have been related to all the Fedora updates that have been installed since the last time I logged in.
When I logged out and logged back in I found that I was now updated to using Firefox 57.0 (rather than the 56.0 I reported about.) And Flash is now working.
So, I suspect there was some sort of mismatch somewhere in something the already running Firefox dynamically loaded that caused the problem.
So the problem is now gone. Thanks for your time, and sorry for the interruption.
